Hump Day Inspiration: Spa Day

A couple weeks ago I had a little birthday, and took the day off to indulge myself in a spa day at the Claremont Hotel & Spa in Berkeley.

My first ever professional massage and hour-long pedicure were thoroughly needed... and the best part is that if you make an appointment for one of their services on a weekday you get to take full advantage of ALL of their amenities: whirlpool, steam room, crazy showers with 9 heads, big fluffy robes and sandals... we're talking the whole shebang here people. It was an amazing way to treat myself and I'm seriously considering trying to make this an annual tradition. Maybe next time will include drinks and an amazing view at the hotel's Paragon Bar as well :)
